What can I say about this day? Well, Sally & Benny got hitched at Yandina Station, Queensland — My home turf! Woohoo. And well, it was perfect. They had a garden party with all the trimmings and were so, so amazingly lucky with the weather. They had (and I may be biased here, but whatev’s), the nicest day of the year, no question. Perfectly pale blue skies all day with the odd fluffy white cloud bumping around, just for a hint of contrast. And no rain! Go figure!

The whole day went off without a hitch and we even had a full hour of light to cruise around the gorgeous Yandina Station grounds, snapping away portraits with ease. We even made it back to their garden party in time to watch Sally & Benny’s guests be kissed by the last light as the sun set over their beautiful day. I can’t thank Sally & Benny enough for letting me be a part of it all – It truly was amazing.

Even more exciting is that you can catch all the vendor details, some inside stories and more gorgeous images in issue 2 of Hello May — In stores TODAY (26th of June, 2013) — available at all the best newsagents nationally, including Mag Nation & WH Smith. Go grab yourself a copy (and one for your mum, cousin, auntie, entire office .. whatev’s) and check out all the gorgeousness that is Hello May today!
